MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

September 3, 2024

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome back to another exciting school year at Tonawanda Elementary School. As we step into the 2024-2025 school year, we are thrilled to embrace the opportunities and adventures that lie ahead for our students, families, and staff.

Our dedicated team has been hard at work preparing for the new year, and we’re eager to see the children working in all classes. Whether your child is returning to continue their journey with us or joining us for the first time, we are committed to providing a nurturing, exciting, and supportive environment for all.

This year, we are excited to introduce several new initiatives designed to enhance your child's learning experience:

  1. Parent-Teacher Partnerships: We believe in the power of strong home-school connections. Look forward to more opportunities for collaboration and communication through workshops, meetings, and regular updates.

  2. Community Events: From family fun nights to educational workshops, we have a range of activities planned to bring our school community together and celebrate our collective achievements. We will continue to send home monthly calendars.

  3. Support Systems: Our focus on student well-being continues with enhanced support services and programs to ensure every child thrives both academically and emotionally. Our school website is https://www.tonawandacsd.org/o/tes/page/our-school

We encourage you to stay connected with us through our website and newsletters. Your involvement and feedback are invaluable as we work together to make this year a memorable and successful one for all our students.

Just a reminder about parking, please be mindful of our neighbors, when dropping off your children. We want to ensure that all students are safe when arriving and leaving the school.

Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. We look forward to partnering with you to make the 2024-2025 school year a fantastic journey of growth, discovery, and achievement. Here’s to a great year ahead!

All the best,

Rob Ross
