With a focus on reading, Karen Sugg has been inspiring and educating the students of the Tonawanda City School District for over 20 years.
She started in Tonawanda Middle School as a long-term substitute. From there, she moved into the elementary grades to teach third, fourth and kindergarten. Three years ago, she settled into her role as an AIS Reading teacher working with students at Tonawanda Elementary School.
Sugg works hard every day to support our students with literacy and reading, matching the children to books and skills that turn them into lifelong learners. She is truly an asset to the students of the district and her efforts to help kids grow is truly appreciated.
